We are about to embark on a whirlwind trip around Paris, Florence, Milan, with a fast train ride to Geneva and flight to London. All in a little of over 3 weeks, including our flights. Its going to be hectic and probably more rushed than I would like with a toddler in tow but the excitement of Venice was calling and my husband only had 3 weeks off. It’s our first real family holiday since our little one was born so its exciting and daunting all at the same time. We head to Dublin for 3 days from London when my husband departs and returns to Australia. My son and I will then embark on a 26 day fun filled adventure driven road holiday. I’m talking up the positives as in truth I’m a bit nervous of the strange roads and not having someone to bounce off if I get lost etc. The responsibility of it all being just on me. It’s not much different to my day to day life as I’m currently a stay at home mum with a husband who works ridiculous hours in part to his role and also the now famous grid lock that is Sydney traffic. Its going to be a learning curve for all of us. So much to get done before we go!
